What do we need:
As a full stack developer at LabArchives, you will be part of a small, focused team working on the development of our industry leading Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN), Inventory and Scheduler products. Working cross-functionally with technology, product, and support teams, you will have a substantial impact on our development process and, of course, our products.
You will be a technology enthusiast who thrives on closely collaborating with many team members across several departments, providing their technical expertise to all of our systems and processes while helping grow LabArchives globally.
In this role you will get to:
- Utilize various technologies, including Ruby on Rails, Node.js, PHP, and React.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and support team members to improve LabArchives products through new feature development and systems modernization.
- Participate in the design, implementation, automated testing, and operationalization of our core applications.
- Conduct quality testing and User Acceptance Testing [UAT] to support improvements to our technologies and processes.
We are looking for people who have 3+ years of experience in software development.
The key skills we are looking for:
- Working knowledge of both functional and object oriented design concepts.
- Designing, building, deploying, and scaling web services in Ruby on Rails, or PHP.
- MySQL or PostgreSQL
You may also have experience in:
- Node.js
- Familiarity with: database design, AWS cloud technologies, containers, front-end web development, CI and CD practices, unit testing, secure programming fundamentals.

Dotmatics utilises a national market-based approach to base pay benchmarking and pay band development. The candidate's final starting pay is based on job-related skills, experience, job specific qualifications & location. In addition to base salary, Dotmatics has implemented a total rewards strategy, which is the combination of compensation, benefits and recognition.

$63,312—$74,484 USD
