Job Description
MOM Functional Consultant is an experienced professional able to lead key MES project activities such as functional specifications, design specifications, system demonstration, Application functional validation, application deployment, Customer communication, training, and support. It includes managing the quoting, customer, and sales contacts. He / She must have good understanding of software design methodologies.
Overview

Designs, defines and implements complex system requirements for customers and/or prepares studies and analyzes existing systems.

Determines system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.

Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system.

Identifies, analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies.

Develops and recommends corrective actions.
Key responsibilities:
-
Help and support the implementation and deployment of our solutions in close cooperation with the Project Manager all over the project life cycle from the presales phase until the commissioning.

Find and define the best solutions to design and deploy our MES solutions in providing guidance to the customers and defining strategies with the project teams.

Understand and challenge the customer’s needs, analyze the gaps, and propose solutions.

Maintain good cooperation and relationship with all project stakeholders, customers and sales.

Stay up-to-date, quickly learn, and articulate the features and benefits of new products and solutions.

Document all business processes, needs, flows and diagrams (swim lane, UI Design etc.)

Prepare and execute demonstration of our standard MES and Analytics software.

Prepare and execute customer specific MES and Analytics solution demonstrations.

Provide on-site installation, commissioning, start-up services, and application training for our MES solutions.

Identify tasks and interrelationships to evaluate functional and cross-functional requirements.

Research existing systems and procedures make changes and improvise wherever necessary.

Act as a coach to engineering and other specialists on our MES solutions.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering or Science, or equivalent technical experience.

Typically, minimum of 3 years of experience in systems, MES software or application engineering capacity.

Ability to travel 25% to 50% on average.
