We have an exciting opportunity for a Master Engineer in our HCX team of VCF Division. The HCX Team is looking to hire Senior Engineer to lead and design initiatives in an area of workload mobility to cater to hybrid and private cloud deployments. You will be joining a team of talented engineers to build the next-generation cloud infrastructure and mobility services. You will be challenged to devise innovative ways to make our architecture meet the performance, availability and scalability requirements posed by the future Software Defined Data Centres. You will participate in all phases of the software development life cycle; help maintain technical acumen in key technology areas to help guide the evolution of our platform. Job Role and Responsibilities:

As a senior member of the HCX team, you'll be responsible for the design, architecture, and development of high quality, well-architected software products with specific focus on distributed systems, scalability, elasticity and SLA guarantees. You'll lead a team and make crucial road map decisions. You'll interact with senior architects, product managers, solution architects and sometimes with partners and customers to discuss and collaborate on strategies for improving features and to come-up with the future set products.

Required Skills:

• Master or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 15+ years industrial working experience of developing enterprise software.

• Lead and drive architecture to unify products and create a next generation VCF Operations and Management platform, working with engineering teams, Broadcom partners, and cross-functional Broadcom groups 

• Be a hands-on architect who will design and develop software architecture for the current and future generation of cloud mobility platforms.

• Strong understanding of fundamentals in Distributed, concurrency and multi-threaded systems.

• Passionate in system design and architecture.

• Significant Java coding experience.

• Strong analytical and debugging skills.

• Deep understanding of VMware technologies especially with NSX, vSphere and vSAN 

• Hands-on experience in the design and implementation of a variety of network, storage, and security protocols.
