About the Role:
The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer with expertise in software development and Cloud technologies. Here is your opportunity to work on a product with a huge role in this organization’s charter. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, with a focus on building scalable, responsive user interfaces and deploying on Cloud platform. You will be reporting to a Technology Solutions manager and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable software applications.
You Will:
- Design and develops secured software applications of moderate complexity.
- Highly skilled in refactoring, improves code base continually.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Implement and maintain continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline for automated deployment.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of applications
- Assist with project planning by thoroughly identifying the tasks required for project deliverables.
- Has experience working in a team using Agile methodology.
You Have:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information's systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years proficiency in developing front-end applications using Angular.
- Minimum 7 years experience in Java and J2EE programming , developing webservices.
- Experience with Spring Framework stack, MVC, UI frameworks
- Experience working with cloud services (AWS)
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices
- Knowledge of version control systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and serverless computing

Notes:
This position may be filled at various levels based on candidate's qualifications as determined by the department.
This role allows for the employee to work in a hybrid manner with some work conducted onsite at the Federal Reserve work location and some work conducted remotely. For this specific role, 2-3 days per week of work can be conducted remotely. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
