We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with a strong backend and data orientation, a business-oriented mindset, and hands-on experience with agentic AI development to join the IVIX R&D team.
You will design, build, and maintain data-intensive applications and backend systems, working primarily with Python and technologies such as Spark and Kafka, alongside data technologies including MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Neo4j, Redis, and Apache Iceberg.
Our systems process large volumes of complex data and are deployed both on-premises and as a SaaS offering on Kubernetes.

About the postion- Develop and maintain backend services and data-intensive systems by key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Design and implement scalable solutions for complex problems involving large volumes of data.
- Evolve our engineering and architecture to support the growing scale of users, features, and data.
- Take ownership of features and systems - from understanding the business problems to planning and technical design and through development and post-deployment.
- Design, build, and maintain APIs and integrations between services.
- Write and maintain automated tests.
- Be accountable for data quality on produced data sets and insights on those data sets.
- Work closely with Product and other engineering teams.
- Contribute to shared libraries, infrastructure, and engineering best practices.
- Use agentic capabilities to enhance velocity and impact on our SDLC.

- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend development and data pipelines.
- Solid understanding of SQL, data pipelines and data modeling.
- Experience designing and building REST APIs.
- Experience developing and maintaining high-scale, data-intensive systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Product engineer by nature - understanding the business problem before implementing solutions.
- Self-driven, proactive, and collaborative, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- BSc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - an advantage.
