Designation:  Software Engineer

Location:  Hyderabad

About the Role :

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to help build and ship the next generation of healthcare technology solutions that improve patient outcomes, streamline clinical workflows, and drive operational efficiency across health systems. The ideal candidate brings solid hands-on skills in the .NET ecosystem, genuine curiosity about how systems work end-to-end, and the discipline to write clean, well-tested code in a complex, regulated domain.

This role sits at the intersection of technology, healthcare, and innovation — offering the opportunity to work on products that serve millions of patients and truly make a difference. You will work alongside experienced engineers who will invest in your growth, review your code carefully, and give you real ownership of meaningful features. If you want to sharpen your craft quickly and see your engineering work have real-world impact beyond business metrics — we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver production-grade software as per defined requirements and technical specifications, following healthcare domain standards and compliance frameworks.
  • Build and maintain user interfaces, databases, APIs, and client-facing displays across our healthcare platform, contributing to a seamless end-to-end experience for our end users.
  • Contribute to technical design — participate actively in design discussions, ask sharp questions about trade-offs, and translate agreed designs into working, well-structured code with guidance from senior engineers.
  • Write well-organized, optimized, and documented source code in line with established coding guidelines and best practices, maintaining a high bar for readability and consistency.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and refine existing source code — investigate defects methodically, identify root causes rather than symptoms, and improve system performance and reliability with every release cycle.
  • Build and execute unit and integration test cases to ensure code quality, reduce regression risk, and maintain confidence in every deployment.
  • Participate in code reviews — review peers’ work constructively and act on feedback received, treating reviews as a primary channel for learning and raising the team’s quality bar.
  • Support release activities — assist with staging validations, UAT coordination, and post-deployment monitoring to help ensure zero-disruption releases.
  • Contribute to technical documentation — keep design notes, API documentation, and runbooks accurate and current so the team can move fast without breaking things.
  • Coordinate with fellow engineers and cross-functional teams — collaborate with product managers, QA, DevOps, and support teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality solutions.
  • Own your assigned scope — deliver committed work on time, flag blockers and risks early, and communicate progress proactively without waiting to be asked.
  • Grow continuously — build depth in the .NET ecosystem, learn the healthcare domain, seek out mentorship, and stay current with modern engineering practices.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail — every task, from code changes to documentation to deployments, must be carried out to a high standard of quality and precision.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of total software development experience.
  • Experience contributing to the delivery of scalable, production-grade software systems — healthcare domain exposure is an added advantage.
  • Strong programming skills in C# and the .NET framework (.NET Core / .NET 6+).
  • Working experience in MVC architecture is a must.
  • Hands-on experience with common design patterns and Entity Framework is a must.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL), including the ability to write and tune SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and views.
  • Working experience on client-side technologies such as JavaScript and jQuery is required. Exposure to UI frameworks such as Angular or React is an added advantage.
  • Practical understanding of unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest) and a genuine appetite for automation testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.
  • Working knowledge of version control (Git) and exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure or AWS) and containerization (Docker) is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently on well-defined tasks and collaboratively in small teams, with adaptability to a fast-paced environment and a keen interest in staying current with the latest trends.
  • Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Why Join Us:

  • Be part of a mission-driven organization revolutionizing healthcare delivery through technology.
  • Collaborate with product, clinical, and data teams solving real-world healthcare challenges.
  • Work with a technically strong team that values innovation, integrity, and impact.
