The Opportunity:
1. Work across the software development lifecycle, including deployment, automation, cloud infrastructure, and production support.
2. Support cloud-native deployments and DevOps-related activities.
3. Optimize and build software and comfortable deploying, automating, troubleshooting, and supporting it in production environments.
Responsibilities:
1. Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
2. Works individually or as part of a team.
3. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
4. Resolves software problem reports.
5. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
6. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software tradc-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

1. Experience in designing, building, testing and deploying changes to existing software
2. Experience in enhanced infrastructure security protocols
3. Knowledge in Identifying manual processes that can be automated
4. Experience in maintaining and improving cloud infrastructure
5. Automate code integration, testing, and deployment to deliver product features to production securely and efficiently
6. Provision and manage environments using automation tools instead of manual server configurations.
7. Configure logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to proactively detect bottlenecks and resolve production issues.
8. Manage containerized applications to ensure seamless scaling across platforms.
9. This position requires a TS/SCI and a polygraph within the last 5 years.
Fourteen ( 14) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Desired:
1. CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with continuous integration frameworks such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
2. Infrastructure Tools: Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.
