The Architecture and Cloud Excellence (ACE) Team drives all lifecycle processes and systems anchored on delivering the best customer and partner experience. From Market-to-Lead and Lead-to-Opportunity to Renew-to-Booking and Support-to-Advocacy, we build the platforms that power Cisco’s business. We are responsible for the SmartBonding platform, which enables Cisco’s customers and partners to synchronize their ITSM tickets seamlessly with Cisco’s internal systems.
Your Impact
As a Full Stack Cloud Engineer on the SmartBonding platform, you will have a multifaceted impact on our development activities. You will design, build, and deploy Mule APIs and Angular-based UIs, ensuring our platforms are scalable and efficient. You will work closely with architects and multi-functional teams to solve complex technical problems, handle cloud infrastructure, and drive quality through automation. This role is perfect for a creative engineer who thrives in an agile environment and is passionate about cloud-native development and system integration.
- Design, build, and deploy Mule APIs and Angular UIs for the SmartBonding platform.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, requirements gathering, development, and quality assurance.
- Drive QA automation by preparing MUnits, maintaining automated regression suites, and conducting load and performance testing.
- Solve incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures to ensure system stability.
- Collaborate with global teams to address complex challenges across public cloud environments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology.
- 4–8 years of professional experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing APIs (Mule) and cloud solutions (AWS).
- Proven hands on experience with AWS assets, including S3, OpenSearch, and MongoDB Atlas.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub CP.
- Experience driving test automation using UiPath and conducting performance/load testing using JMeter.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Salesforce API and Salesforce Architecture.
- Certifications in MongoDB, MuleSoft, or Open-Source technologies.
- Strong communication and project management skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple time zones.
- Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and solve complex problems.
- Familiarity with agile development and testing methodologies.
