ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable software applications for real-world products. The ideal candidate has strong software engineering fundamentals, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and is passionate about building high-quality, production-ready systems. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll work across the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to testing and deployment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and services
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality features
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices
- Build and integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and reliability
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions and architecture decisions
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Stay up to date with modern software development tools, frameworks, and best practices
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, or C#
- Experience building web applications, backend services, or distributed systems
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team
- Ability to work in a US time zone, Monday to Friday (8 hours per day)
