Role
Splunk SOAR is the only purpose built Security Automation & Orchestration
platform, and the first to provide an open community for sharing Playbooks
and Apps. It makes security smarter, faster, and stronger.
As a Full Stack Developer, you will be instrumental in delivering top-quality
Splunk security products. You will be responsible for the design,
implementation, and quality of the services you deliver. You will drive process
improvement and collaborate effectively with fast-paced, cross-functional
teams to solve problems and implement new solutions.
Responsibilities
Build customer-facing, end-to-end UI flows using our current stack by
producing code, tests, and documentation; supporting the sprint
management process; and communicating effectively with peers and
managers.
Work closely with Product and UI research teams to advance usability
and experience.
Build robust backend interfaces and APIs to support end-to-end UI
flows.
Take full ownership of frontend and backend technologies in our
application stack, prioritizing security, resilience, and cross-browser
compatibility.
Research, propose, and implement new tools, frameworks, and libraries
to benefit the team.
Leverage AI expertise to build development tooling and enhance cloud
product deployment and Service Readiness Engineering (SRE)
workflows.
Experience
3+ years of experience building and launching successful, user-centric,
full-stack products.
Deep customer empathy and a commitment to delivering high-quality
user experiences.
Strong collaboration skills, with a demonstrable ability to work across
customer success, sales, marketing, and engineering teams to influence
senior leaders.
Advanced understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript, CSS, and HTML.
Experience with technologies in our stack: React, Redux, Styled
Components, Webpack, Jest, Storybook, Cypress, etc.
Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python.
Experience building single-page, data-heavy web applications and
managing asynchronous data handling via REST APIs.
Clear understanding of UX design principles and experience working
within a collaborative design process.
Expertise in AI/ML applications, specifically regarding development
tooling, automation, and cloud-based SRE/deployment strategies.
Ability to architect technical solutions at a high level while remaining
hands-on with implementation.
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with minimal direction,
characterized by intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability, and
positivity.

Skills Required
