About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Vector CAPL & AUTOSAR Engineer to support development and testing of automotive ECUs, focusing on CAPL scripting, communication protocols, and AUTOSAR-based systems. The role involves working across diagnostic, testing, and integration activities for next-generation automotive platforms.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain CAPL scripts for testing automotive communication systems (CAN, Ethernet, FlexRay)
- Design and execute HIL/SIL test cases using Vector tools (CANoe / CANalyzer)
- Perform AUTOSAR BSW integration and validation activities
- Analyze and debug issues in ECU communication and diagnostic stack
- Work on UDS diagnostics, DoIP, and automotive communication protocols
- Collaborate with development, validation, and QA teams for end-to-end testing
- Develop test automation frameworks using CAPL (and Python where applicable)
- Support test environment setup and simulation using Vector hardware
- Perform defect analysis, debugging, and root cause analysis (RCA)
What You Need to Be Successful
- 3–6 years of experience in CAPL scripting and automotive testing/development
- Strong experience with Vector tools (CANoe / CANalyzer)
- Hands-on experience in AUTOSAR (Classic preferred) architecture and modules
- Good understanding of communication protocols: CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics (UDS, DoIP)
- Strong debugging and analysis skills for embedded automotive systems
- Familiarity with embedded C / C++ basics
- Good understanding of test automation and validation workflows
Good to Have
- Experience with Python scripting for automation
- Exposure to AUTOSAR stack integration tools (Vector DaVinci, CANoe)
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR Security / Cybersecurity basics
- Experience in HIL testing and infotainment systems
- Familiarity with test tools like DTS Monaco
- Knowledge of ASPICE / V-Model automotive processes
