A CAREER WITH POINT72'S COMPLIANCE TECHNOLOGY TEAM
The Compliance Technology team at Point72 develops surveillance, monitoring, and reporting tools to ensure that the firm adheres to the highest standards for ethical conduct and professionalism. We develop and maintain a variety of products that interface with many different areas of the business including research, execution, and risk.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
This role will support and enhance Compliance Technology's applications using technologies such as Java, Spring Framework, and SQL. Knowledge of or experience with ReactJS/NodeJS is strongly preferred. The primary responsibilities will include:
- Server-side software development using Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate
- Database programming using T-SQL with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server
- Working with various streaming, cloud, and containerized technologies
- Front-end software development using JavaScript, TypeScript and ReactJS
- Contributing to discussions and decisions about application architecture
- Liaising with other technology teams within Point72
WHAT'S REQUIRED
The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-starter with experience across all tiers of software development and who has the following skills:
- Proficiency with Java and Spring Framework
- Proficiency with SQL
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and design skills
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
