The Opportunity:

CACI's Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector is seeking a Software Engineer in support of the Naval Education Training Command (NETC). NETC develops the Naval Total Force (NTF) through education and training that builds personal, professional and leadership skills by tailoring training delivery to the individual and provides access when and where needed through optimal use of technology. You will provide IT Operations services commensurate with supporting technical tasks necessary to manage the wide range of IT programs that support the NETC Mission. Identifying the Operations services necessary to accomplish the administration and management requirements of NETC IT programs and provide the necessary response to numerous IT compliance taskings. Provide NMCI and network, systems and database administration, and business intelligence architecture services in support of the IT Training OPS requirements. Support the IT training OPS by providing the necessary response to numerous IT compliance tasking mandated by various departments within the Navy, the Office of Secretary of Defense, and the Congress of the United States. 

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for designing, developing, operating, and maintaining software, firmware components, or computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with solutions or products that also encompass non-information technology related engineering or scientific disciplines. These solutions or products may require hardware, aerospace-communications, cyber, electrical, manufacturing, mechanical, or other specialized engineering domain knowledge to design, develop, and support software components embedded within them. Applies the appropriate software standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system life cycle to support the generation of multi-disciplinary solutions and products such as simulations of engineering and scientific problems, avionics, command and control, tactical displays, medical devices, sensors, and electro-mechanical systems. Interfaces with customers, suppliers, application users and other technical and support personnel.

Qualifications: 

Required:

Typically has a University Degree or equivalent.

Ten years minimum of working experience in IT supplies/logistics, customer service, production, data entry, computer operations.

Active Secret Security Clearance

Security+ or CE certification or equivalent will be required.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$80,600 - $169,200
