Senior Integration developer

Your role at Dynatrace
The role works directly with several Dynatrace departments and our customers to design, develop and support custom solutions for our award-winning application monitoring tool. They represents Dynatrace as an expert in the practice of application performance management, providing customers with the means to extend the Dynatrace Platform along their digital transformation journeys. Learning new technologies while using existing knowledge of application integrations and visualizations.
This is an Senior developer consultant level position, requiring more than just product knowledge and expertise. The integration developer will have years of experience running integration engagements, from planning the architecture, to developing the implementation and handing it over to the end customer. They are also natural problem solvers who like a variety of challenges while working in complex environments.
What will help you succeed

• Experience hands-on design and programming experience, preferably Python or ReactJS/Typescript
• Strong consulting/development experience, preferably with monitoring tools
• Serve as a subject matter expert on techniques and best practices for extending Dynatrace, combining product expertise with your skills and knowledge
• Regularly consult with customers to understand and meet, their business and technical goals
• Work with customers to provide information on how to best incorporate the Dynatrace product in non-out-of-the-box supported environments
• Develop, and support, integrations with 3rd party tools and devices to extend the footprint of Dynatrace through the extension framework, custom apps and custom workflow actions
• Participate in project scoping and integration architectural deployment design
• Partner with the sales team as needed in presales technical sessions
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Able to multitask, for example a few customer engagements, Slack, emails, support questions and side projects
• Self-starter and driven to deliver projects on time
• Comfortable with taking shortcuts to deliver value for money for internal and external

Desired Experience

• Inherent and proven problem-solving nature, with an engaged, self-motivated, can-do attitude
• Extensive knowledge of Python, YAML, ReactJS and Typescript
• Comfortable with people from the development labs to the executive offices
• Comfortable taking educated risks as warranted
• A broad experience with network devices, databases, storage devices, and messaging systems
• Ability to write or contribute to technical white papers and blogs
• Front end design experience
• Previous Dynatrace experience, or experience with another Application managment tool
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills verbal - Also a 2nd european language would be desirable
