Your Impact 
 

During a summer internship, you will get the opportunity to explore a variety of technologies while working collaboratively with an existing team. We prioritize ensuring our summer interns feel included and contribute to real-life projects that are relevant and useful to Cisco.  

  

The specific project you will work on will be determined based on your field of interest and our current needs. You will receive a mentor to guide you along the way and answer your questions, making this an exciting opportunity to grow your career. If you have a great idea, you might even get the opportunity to pursue this during your internship. 

  

The following examples are projects that previous interns have been working on: 
 

  • office room analytics application based on live and historical sensor data from our devices 

  • noise reduction with deep learning 

  • synchronous camera focusing for immersive systems 

  • showing personal calendars in meeting rooms based on face recognition 

  • using Falco on Kubernetes for threat detection   

  • implement and accelerate our Head Detection model in a FPGA camera 

  • depth estimation of meeting rooms using deep learning 

  

  

Minimum Qualifications: 
 

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related subject. 

  • Ability to live and work in Norway for the duration of the summer internship (no visa or relocation support is provided for this position)
