We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong SQL skills and Python scripting of 3- 6 Years experience to support data analysis, reporting, and automation needs. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to extract, analyze, and transform data into meaningful insights.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
- Perform data extraction, validation, and analysis from multiple data sources
- Develop and maintain lightweight Python scripts for data processing, automation, and reporting
- Support business reporting and ad-hoc data requests
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and performance bottlenecks
- Document queries, scripts, and data workflows
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience working with SQL (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong understanding of joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, and indexing
- Experience with basic Python scripting for data manipulation and automation
- Familiarity with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy (basic level)
- Understanding of data concepts and relational databases
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and documentation abilities
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with ETL processes or data pipelines
- Exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of Linux / shell scripting
- Experience working in Agile environments
Education
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or computer science or equivalent combination of experience and education.
