The Role
Role Overview
  • Executes technical tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • May lead small project components or contribute significantly to larger initiatives.
  • Impacts operational, customer, and service activities within the team and adjacent groups.
  • Contributes to the development of engineering methods, tools, and best practices.
  • Moderate impact on the functional/business unit.
Technical Skills & Functional Knowledge

Core Competencies

  • Database Systems: Foundational knowledge of RDBMS including PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
  • Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure services.
  • Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell or Python for automation and tooling.
  • Networking & Hardware: Basic understanding of networking concepts and hardware components.
  • Operating Systems: Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux environments.

Bonus Skills

  • Ability to read and troubleshoot SQL code, including execution plans.
  • Experience in end-to-end troubleshooting across application, network, hardware, and database layers.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Deep knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
  • Strong ability to document, track, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong collaborative problem-solving abilities.
