What We're Looking For:

Senior Software Engineer is responsible for delivering quality, well-tested software into Production. The ideal candidate will have printer and printer driver experiences, experiences in developing or testing Web, Windows, Android, iOS applications. This Engineer will be responsible for developing test tools and test code for Software product interfaces, SDK API and UI automation, creating & executing automated or manual test cases and analyzing test results. This engineer will provide guidance to junior level engineers to help analyze the problems and provide effective troubleshooting methods and solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Capable to use different programming languages, e.g. Java, Python to design and develop test tools and automation test code
  • Develop and maintain software test tools to support test execution, data analysis and problem solving.
  • Develop and maintain test code of automated integration test, interface test and UI automation test.
  • Participate in code reviews and identify bad sections early in the process and then recode them
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to problems using experience in multiple technical areas.
  • May influence and Coach junior level engineers at various stages of the design, development and test process.
  • Design test plans according to the project requirement and schedule
  • Develop test cases and create test procedures to address complex test issues.
  • Perform complex testing and quantitative technical analysis and perform complex root cause analysis
  • Maintain accurate and reliable records of tested projects (including test plans, data, analysis, engineering communications, and final summary reports).
  • Receive little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments.
  • Contribute ideas that will help improve our documentation, processes, and overall performance and reliability of our products.

Requirements:

  • Familiar with software developing and testing methodologies and processes on different OS, including Windows, iOS, Android,  MacOS, Linux etc.
  • Familiar with printer products or printer related software products is preferred
  • Rich experiences in Software Test Tool development or SDK API test development and UI Automation Test development.
  • Master at least one or two programming languages, C#, Java is preferred
  • Experiences in Mobile Application Development with Android SDK, or developing automation test code with Selenium, Appium is preferred
  • Good planning and organization skills.
  • Has network background knowledge. Familiar with switch, wireless router and server configuration. Able to fix network related issue.
  • At least bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
  • 6-8 years or above experience in software testing, at least 3-5 years in test tool development or automation test code development.
  • Fluent oral and written English, should be able to communicate in English effectively
