Job DescriptionThe Senior Software Engineer role is focused on the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of complex internal software applications, primarily using C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and Microsoft/Oracle databases. The position leads development projects and is involved in the full software development life cycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. It is responsible for ensuring technical quality, maintaining and optimizing existing systems, and delivering scalable business solutions.
A strong emphasis is placed on Oracle database expertise, as solid experience in database design, optimization, maintenance, and integration is key to supporting reliable and scalable business applications. The role also requires strong experience in APIs, relational databases, and software engineering best practices within collaborative environments. They are seeking an analytical, self-driven, customer-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills, project management capabilities, and advanced English communication skills.
Qualifications- Strong experience with Oracle Database and advanced PL/SQL development.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.
- Experience supporting and maintaining legacy enterprise applications.
- Practical experience working in Linux/Unix environments, including command line, scripting, log review, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of SQL tuning, query optimization, stored procedures, packages, triggers, functions, and database objects.
- Experience with production support, incident resolution, debugging, and root cause analysis.
- Experience with application maintenance, enhancements, migrations, and post-implementation support.
- Familiarity with Oracle APEX, Oracle BI Publisher, WebLogic, or Oracle E-Business Suite is highly desirable.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, integrations, batch processes, and enterprise system interfaces.
- Understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact directly with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in complex, highly regulated, and business-critical environments.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, ownership, and attention to detail.
- Ability to ramp up quickly on complex legacy systems with limited documentation.
- English level B2 or higher is required for communication with international teams and users.
