As EROAD expands globally, we are seeking a Front End Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our leading global SaaS application. Our application is built with React and Redux, and you will be able to work on EROAD's portal and Front End ecosystem. About the role:
As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for driving the consistent usage of common UI components and shared code within specific business areas. You will collaborate with the development team to plan, build, and execute application development tasks, ensuring best-practice design and implementation. Part of your daily routine will be to work in an Agile team, you will research and recommend appropriate tool chains, improvements to development processes, and future technologies, including tests and will work with a continuous delivery pipeline.
Skills and experience:
We’re looking for someone that has a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a Front End Developer role or similar. You may possess all or some of the following skills:
Proficiency in web technologies, including core concepts of React and Redux, as well as TypeScript.
Experience designing and developing Web applications and reusable Front End components.
Experience with end-to-end applications and Front End integration patterns within a micro-services framework using RESTful API's.
Hands-on experience with build configuration tools, such as Webpack and Babel.
Automated tests design and implementation experience (e.g. Jest, React Testing Library and Playwright).
Experience in developing against a version control system (e.g. Git).
Familiarity with Cloud architecture (e.g. AWS).
A customer-focused mindset, dedicated to building end-user experiences that effectively meet customer needs.
Effective communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
