Main Responsibilities:
- This position will be working at the Enterprise Technology Engineering Center, assigned to a software design team.
- This person will develop Windows software applications that will be used by a engineering team to perform automation testing procedures both in development and manufacturing stages.
- This person will be working with SAE J1939, UDS & CAN Communication protocol; tool debugging and interfacing with hardware for automotive controllers.
- The position will follow Agile methodology with a Scrum framework for software development.
- This person will perform tasks to meet quality, delivery, and cost goals with minimal supervision.
- Work in an international (USA) and interdisciplinary team to develop multiple desktop applications.
What Skills You Need:
- Strong experience in C++ programming language.
- Strong experience in Object-Oriented Programming.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Experience in CMake and package managers.
- Experience with version control: Git, SVN.
- Knowledge of communication networks (mainly CAN & SAE J1939, UDS).
- Good written and verbal communication skills (English).
What Makes You Stand Out:
- Experience with on-chip debugging tools and troubleshooting both software and hardware.
- Experience with development and debugging tools (e.g. source level debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multi-meters, etc.).
- Experience working with QT framework.
- Experience in Win32 programming.
- Knowledge of operation and use of compilers, linkers, locators, and memory organization.
- Knowledge of SW compilation process and scripts.
- Understanding engineering principles as they relate to the company product.
- Experience in Project Management, leading project development.
Eduaction:
- B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Digital Systems, and Robotics Engineering or similar.
