Summary of the role
If you are searching for cutting edge solutions for industrial, x-ray based testing and quality control, Nordson Matrix Technologies is the place to go. As market leader in AXI, our development is driven by challenging customer projects from all over the world, running SMT and SEMI-Backend productions.
While working as a Software Engineer within the automation technologies team you will participate in the development of our software suite for automatic x-ray inspection systems. As such will you modify and extend the functionality of the system as well as off-line software modules. You would furthermore work together with the team to ensure overall software quality and provide support to internal and external users.

Role and Responsibilities

Create solutions around the software integration of our systems within the end-user factories.

Custom integrations based on common industry standards (e.g. SECS/GEM, CFX, etc.).

Create system software extensions and participate in creating specifications for such.

Support self-developed extensions as well as such created by other team-members.

Perform 3rd level support and system analysis.

Participate in the migration to Azure DevOps.

Support the continuous improvement of our software platform.
Skills and Qualifications

Degree in computer science or similar.

Professional skills in C# and object-oriented programming, WinForms, WPF.

Industry areas: Electronics industry, automotive.

Areas of work: Automation / factory automation, MES, SPC.

Used to work with factory-automation protocols e.g. SECS/GEM (SEMI E5, E30, E37, …), CFX (IPC-2591), OpCon, GHP, iTAC.
