About the Role
The Team Lead (m/f/x) - Big Data Analytics leads a team of functional discipline engineers who work in data annotation, KPI script development for feature validation and maintenance of an inhouse platform for performance evaluation of features. The Team Lead has responsibility for people management (development, coaching), technical leadership in his/her domain and finding ideas to optimize the process and expenses.
Your Responsibilities

  • Provides technical leadership in directing the efforts of the team in the development of all relevant deliverables in compliance with the product development process and customer expectations.
  • Acts as working supervisor and performs regular engineering tasks together with the leadership role.
  • Perform complex work assignments requiring problem solving and decision making.
  • Ensures engineering targets (quality, delivery timing, performance, engineering budget, etc.) for engineering deliverables are met and proper staffing of projects.
  • Works with other Line Managers to improve development processes (in compliance with ASPICE and ISO26262), including creation of templates, guidelines as well as the definition of best practices and lessons learned.
  • Reports the status on responsible discipline to management.
  • Participates in continuous improvement efforts, research, recommends and initiates implementation of enhancements to products, processes, and programs.
  • Participates and drives evaluation of new technologies in the field of annotation, ADAS feature KPI generation


Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering: Software Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • 8+ years relevant experience in automotive ADAS domains. Understanding of basic concepts of performance parameters for features.
  • Overall knowledge in Data Management, Data Annotation, Reprocessing, KPI report scripting, Test Management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of English. German knowledge is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of MS Office package (especially Excel)
  • Knowledge of engineering tools such as version control/ configuration management etc.


Your preferred qualifications

  • Project management experience and certifications.
  • Programming experience at work in Python, C++.
