**Position will be on-site in Richardson, TX. No Remote or Hybrid Option
Job Duties: Lead and participate in medium-to-large-scale projects by reviewing project requirements, translating requirements into technical solutions, gathering requested information, writing and developing code, and conducting unit testing. Communicate status and issues to team members and stakeholders. Collaborate with project teams and cross-functional teams. Troubleshoot open issues and bug fixes, ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs. Interact with the project manager to provide input on the project plan. Provide technical leadership to a small group of up to 6 engineers, including offshore associates, on assigned Engineering Projects by providing pertinent documents, direction, and examples. Identify short and long-term solutions and provide feedback for the proposed solution. Perform design and code reviews of changes. Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information, including issue, impact, a critical, and possible root cause, and involve support teams to assist in the resolution of issues. Formulate action plans and perform actions as designed. Interpret the results to determine further action and perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences of issues and complete online documentation. Provide support to the business by responding to users’ questions, concerns, and issues such as technical feasibility and implementation strategies. Facilitate resolutions and lead cross-functional partnerships. Provide technical solutions, ensure their integrity, and that the solutions can be built, implemented, and maintained within timelines/budgets. Investigate and prototype innovative approaches to improve software quality. Ensure development teams can develop in a stable and productive environment, with minimal rework required due to architectural change or related problems as products evolve. Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others. Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs and build commitment to perspectives and rationales. Design and implement comprehensive UI/UX solutions by understanding customer problems, product goals, and technical requirements. Collaborate with design teams to deliver engaging and consistent user interface. Participate in all technical aspects of team deliverables, including quality, performance, maintainability, and scalability. Communicate technical decisions regarding architecture and design, to business and engineering.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and 2 years of experience in software development; UI domain architecture; modern front-end frameworks, including Angular, Ionic, and/or React; Micro front end development; Responsive Web Application with CSS Frameworks and CSS preprocessors, including SCSS, LESS, and/or Material Design; i18n and l10n features; testing tools, including Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, Cucumber, and Gherkin; CDN, Caching, Authentication, and State management; and version control tools, including Git, SVN, and TFS.
