The Alpega Group is looking for a Software Engineer. This role will be part of our TMS team. This role is based in Khon Kaen, Thailand.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Working as a member of an agile feature-team in designing, coding, and testing new features of our ALPEGA transport-management-system (TMS) cloud platform
- Development of solutions for technically challenging logistics requirements
- Taking ownership of code quality and performing code reviews to ensure maintainable, reliable, and clean code
- Continuous improvement and refactoring of the existing code base to strive for technical excellence
- Implementation of comprehensive automated tests following a behavior-driven development approach
WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU
- Have a good command of Java, JUnit, SQL, JavaScript, and experience in software development, or you have the ambition to develop yourself
- A team player with experience in a collaborative, agile work environment
- Like to learn, are flexible, and have a will to deep dive into an existing code base to further improve our product platform together with your team colleagues
- Familiar with some other technologies we use, such as Oracle DB, Oracle Cloud, Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence), Ansible, GitLab, Selenide, and Rest API
- Feel comfortable working in English
