Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement and maintain Java application within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes
  • Communicate effectively with other engineers and all stakeholders
  • Be able to proficiently resolve technical issues through debugging
  • Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize the applications
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:
  • Solid experience in developing the applications on Java platform (Spring Boot, REST Web Services, XML, Multi-threading, NodeJS, GraphQL)
  • Experience with Cloud based technologies such as AWS
  • Experience with Micro-service Architecture
  • Solid knowledge and experience working with MySQL or any other similar Database including writing complex join queries and SQL query tuning
  • Experience in JMS messaging using any one platform MQ /Kafka streaming
  • Expertise with Junit or any other test framework
  • Good understanding of Development processes and tools - Sonar, Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD
  • Proficiency in applying object-oriented principles and recommended design patterns to create robust and scalable system designs
  • Proven proactive in identifying and escalating potential risks and impediments and coming up with alternative solutions
  • Proven excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and software development practices

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in teams following Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with Linux or UNIX platform
  • Fundamental knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and drive improvements in the overall quality including automation, code coverage etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to do POC on emerging tech stack.
