What success looks like in this role:
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Java, J2EE, Vert.x, and Microservices architecture.
Develop and maintain secure RESTful and SOAP web services, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
Implement and integrate Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity management solutions using technologies such as OAuth, Okta, and SAML.
Design, develop, and optimize database solutions using relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
Manage database schema changes and version control using Liquibase, ensuring smooth and reliable database migrations across environments.
Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices.
Participate in application architecture, technical design discussions, and code reviews to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams, to deliver business requirements effectively.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects, performance bottlenecks, and production issues in a timely manner.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support automated build, deployment, and release processes.
Use version control systems such as Git and Bitbucket to manage source code and collaborate effectively within the development team.
Ensure applications adhere to security best practices, coding standards, and organizational compliance requirements.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and development practices to drive innovation and improve engineering efficiency.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, API documentation, and operational guides.
Support production deployments and provide timely resolution for production incidents when required.

You will be successful in this role if you have:
- BE/B.Tech degree with 2+ years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
