Department & Role overview:
The risk technology team are looking for a summer intern with C# programming experience. This work will focus on upgrading the core risk and analytic frameworks to leverage our new low latency trade database and API. This team forms part of the front office technology and quant research group, so will give detailed exposure to all the analytic libraries and risk models used by the firm.
The platform covers all asset classes ranging from simple exchange traded to complex derivative options and is used across all desks to deliver live pricing, risk and var. So this is a rare exciting opportunity for someone with technical skills to gain first-hand experience across a huge breadth of finance products and models.
Experience required:
The successful candidate will have good coding skills, preferably in C#, having finished or finishing a technical degree that contained programming modules. They should enjoy programming and thrive on delivering solutions to the business, working in a team the thrives on delivery with virtually no bureaucratic overhead.
