Engineering Systems’ (ES) mission is to elevate Snowflake developers' ability to build and release software to our customers in a fast, frictionless and high-quality way through cutting-edge tools, processes, and AI. ES org has several teams that are responsible for the overall workflow from “Code to Customer” across Snowflake.

WHAT WE EXPECT:
Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program during the time of the internship
Desired majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, or related field
Required coursework (at least 1-2): algorithms, data structures, and operating systems, programming, software testing
Recommended coursework: cloud computing, database systems, or distributed systems
Excellent programming skills in Javascript/Typescript, Java, or Python
Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
Strong problem solving and ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
Experience with working as a part of a team
Dedication and passion for technology
Interested in quality, developer experience & productivity or platform engineering
Duration: 3 months minimum (opportunity for 6 months as well)
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN/GAIN:
How to build enterprise-grade, reliable, and trustworthy software/services
Develop new 3rd party integrations that contribute to expanding the functionality of the Snowflake application and deliver an awesome, consistent user experience.
Collaborate with product management, and other software engineers to deliver new customer-facing features.
Experience working with cloud infrastructure, AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud in particular.
