ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Leads in the design and development of applications within multi-complex, inter-related applications, including writing, validating, and modifying code for applications.
Analyzes day-to-day functionality of signed applications and serves as the main point of contact.
Provides assistance to other software engineers.
Guides product teams about access control and security for various enterprise – wide software tools.
Leads and reviews test results, production data and reports to ensure data quality and integrity.
Coordinates with design and architecture of core services in support of business applications.
Serves as an expert in conceptualizing and developing new components and Application Programming Interfaces (API) and providing application support.
Leads research and recommends new products and technologies, builds prototypes, and partners with other departments in IT to pass on knowledge to support corporate business objectives.
Mentors and trains other team members on programming techniques and system functionality.
Reviews supporting documentation and assist in creating the design and architecture documentation and in creating and maintaining standards and best practices documentation.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
3 years of experience as a Software Engineer III, Software Engineer, Software Developer, or similar duties under a different job title.
Will accept as equivalent a bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of progressive experience.

Hours per week/Salary: 39 hours per week; salary range between $128,960-$142,762yr
