Job Description Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer III to join our engineering team working on our Enterprise Analyzer product. This role is based in Bulgaria, with the flexibility to work remotely within the country.
As a mid-level engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of tools and features within Enterprise Analyzer.
Enterprise Analyzer is a suite of software products designed to analyze and modernize legacy applications. It helps teams understand complex systems and programs by parsing source code written in nearly all major programming languages and collecting detailed insights from the processed code. With the latest adoption of AI, the product has become even more powerful and intuitive to use.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys problem-solving, thrives on complex technical challenges, is eager to dive deep into a large-scale system, and is motivated by the opportunity to work with and integrate AI-driven capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of a complex enterprise-level product, focusing on both new feature delivery and ongoing maintenance.
- Working with modern .NET technologies in a C# environment to build and enhance a desktop-based application and its supporting components.
- Gaining a deep understanding of the product and its architecture, with opportunities to gradually get involved in AI-related initiatives and enhancements.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to shape product direction and explore new ideas, including the application of emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of .NET (C#/VB.NET).
- Knowledge of database servers such as PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server.
- Solid understanding of UI development and maintenance, as well as web services.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and deliver features independently with a strong focus on quality.
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues, including performance bottlenecks, memory errors, concurrency challenges, or cross-platform compatibility.
- A curious and resourceful engineer who enjoys deep technical problem-solving and exploring complex systems.
- Comfortable working across both legacy and modern technical stacks.
- Ready to take ownership of features and components with minimal supervision
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and code quality practices.
- Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
