We are seeking a to join our team for this remote opportunity out of Costa Rica!

Imprivata Customer Privileged Access Management and Vendor Privileged Access Management offer a highly available and performant connectivity framework that uses SSH (secure shell) to create a connectivity platform for remote support. The appliance also offers advanced auditing capabilities and centralized management for remote access.
Our product is mission-critical to our customers and our success depends on our ability to evolve our product to satisfy new customers while improving stability and maintaining security and quality.

• Improving product quality and performance.
• Designing, building, and maintaining user-facing solutions, APIs, services, and systems to fulfill user's needs.
• Debugging production issues across multiple layers on a diverse set of platforms and environments.
• Working with engineers and stakeholders across the company to build new features.
• Improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
• Responsible for extending, expanding, and integrating the latest changes and developments in the platforms our customers use.

• Have 4+ as a Software Engineer, or similar experience in software with regards to testing, reliability, architecting, and usability.
• Have experience developing, maintaining, and supporting complex web applications.
• Possess strong coding skills in:
  • Java
  • Javascript or Typescript
• Have a good knowledge of React
• Have a good knowledge of NextJS
• Knowledge and experience building and communicating with REST APIs.
• Experience in systems engineering regarding testing, reliability, security, and observability.
• Familiarity with developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise applications.
• Team player mentality and like to mentor and share your knowledge with others.
• Experience working with teams collocated in remote offices.
• Ability to tackle ambitious goals and projects and the ability to get things done.
