Software Engineer II
Overview
Cross Border Services enables banks in their capacity as Originating Institutions to boost cross-border payments service for consumers and corporates with a faster, better and smarter solution. A single connection provides reach to more than three billion bank accounts globally, and to both card and non-card endpoints including mobile wallets and cash-out locations in over 60 countries, supporting various payment types including person-to-person payments (P2P), business-to-person disbursements (B2P), business-to-business payments (B2B), and government-to-person disbursement (G2P).
Overview
The Cross Border team is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer who can develop applications using Java J2EE stack. The ideal candidate is the one who is passionate about designing & developing high quality code which is highly scalable, operable & highly available
Role
1) Develop medium-sized project/initiatives as an individual contributor with advanced knowledge within discipline, leading a segment initiative
2) Develops applications, system to system interfaces and complete software solutions, and creates documentation such as user guides and software development guides
3) Code development, code peer review and day-to-day support duties
5) Excellent communication conveying application, coding and any other issues effectively
All About You
1) Software development/ architecture experience involving large scale distributed systems and event driven systems
2. Strong Server development and administration
3. Strong experience in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Springboot, data stores,Web-services
4. Continuous Integration/Deployment - Jenkins, Jenkins Pipelines; build tools such as Maven
5. BE in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
6. Self-starter who can take ownership of technical issues and debug issues
7. Working knowledge of GIT, ALM (Rally)
8. Expertise in Web technologies especially AngularJS is a plus
9. Extreme customer focus and customer service is mandatory
10. Experience with software development frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe
11. Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams and business
12. Hands on experience of working with tools like Jenkins, Confluence, JIRA, Rally, Sonar
