As an Advanced Software Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing sophisticated software solutions that drive innovation and efficiency across our global operations. You will report directly to our Sr. Software Engineer Manager, and you’ll work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the advancement of Honeywell’s software capabilities by delivering robust and innovative solutions that enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction. Your technical expertise will contribute to the development of cutting-edge applications that support our strategic business objectives.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced software applications and systems aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions and ensure seamless functionality.
• Apply best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
YOU MUST HAVE
• 5+ years relevant experience in software development with a strong track record of delivering complex software projects.
• 3 years in programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python, with the ability to develop scalable and maintainable code.
• 3 years' experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
• 3 years of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices in software engineering.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and familiarity with DevOps practices.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers.
