Software Engineer (FastSPICE Simulation)
We are looking for an R&D Software Engineer to join our world-class engineering team. This position is responsible for participating and creating the state-of-the-art circuit simulation technologies and solutions.
Responsibilities
Serve as an R&D Software Engineer for SpectreFX, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of our circuit simulation technologies. Collaborate with global engineering teams to innovate and create state-of-the-art solutions for FastSPICE, and mixed-signal simulation. Analyze and evaluate product issues, providing productive recommendations within broad parameters. Analyze customers’ applications and propose implementation plans based on general objectives and knowledge of Cadence product architecture.
Position Requirements
- Strong software engineering background with excellent skills in C/C++ development in a Unix/Linux environment.
- Proven ability to quickly self-learn, adapt, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technologies in a production environment.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with circuit simulation concepts (SPICE, FastSPICE, RF, mixed-signal) or EDA tools is highly desirable.
- Education:
- BS in CS/EE/Math/Physics plus 2 years of experience in C/C++ and EDA development, OR
- MS in CS/EE/Math/Physics.
- Fresh graduates with strong relevant backgrounds are welcome to apply.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a global team environment.
