Job Title/High Level Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications and backend services using .NET/C#, Vue.js, TypeScript, and Python.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of microservices and REST APIs.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Quality Assurance, UX, and other engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established engineering standards and best practices.
- Investigate and resolve software defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to teammates.
- Contribute to application architecture discussions and technical design activities.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and software deployment activities.
- Continuously learn new technologies, frameworks, and development practices to improve both individual and team capability.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing across the team.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Commercial software development experience, or equivalent internship/university project experience.
- Experience with object-oriented programming principles.
- Exposure to C#, .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar modern programming languages.
- Understanding of web application development fundamentals.
- Familiarity with source control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate within a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow as a software engineer.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with .NET and C#.
- Experience with Vue.js, React, Angular, or another modern frontend framework.
- Exposure to TypeScript and modern JavaScript development.
- Understanding of REST APIs and service-oriented or microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Exposure to containerisation technologies such as Docker.
- Understanding of automated testing practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience contributing to personal, academic, or open-source software projects.
- Interest in healthcare technology and delivering solutions that improve customer outcomes.
