Job Description

As a Software Engineer II, you will participate in the full software development lifecycle with increasing autonomy by analysing requirements, designing, developing, testing, documenting and maintaining automation solutions supporting software deployment, engineering workflows and system integration.
Your role:

  • Develop and maintain automation solutions using C#, .NET, PowerShell, Python and object-oriented programming principles while following software engineering best practices.

  • Contribute to deployment automation, CI/CD, Azure DevOps (ADO), GitHub, Git and release automation initiatives to improve engineering productivity and software quality.

  • Identify manual engineering processes and improve them through reusable automation solutions, scripting, engineering tooling and productivity improvements.

  • Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC), environment provisioning, configuration management and deployment automation activities.

  • Improve observability through logging, monitoring, analytics, performance dashboards and operational insights to enhance system reliability and engineering productivity.

  • Develop and execute unit tests while troubleshooting and debugging software issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques to ensure reliable and maintainable automation solutions.

  • Develop automation solutions supporting Windows environments, networking technologies (DHCP, DNS, TCP, UDP) and engineering infrastructure.

  • Support virtualization and cloud platforms including VMware, Nutanix, AWS and Azure while contributing to distributed engineering environments.

  • Develop solutions using XML, JSON, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, React or similar technologies where applicable.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, participate in design reviews and code reviews and utilize version control systems to support collaborative software development and knowledge sharing.

  • Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to improve engineering productivity, software quality and development efficiency.

  • Collaborate with Software, Verification, Systems Engineering, DevOps, IT and Quality teams across global engineering organizations while actively participating in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

You're the right fit if:

1.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Information Technology or an equivalent discipline.
2. 2–5 years of experience in software development, system automation, deployment automation, DevOps or related engineering disciplines.

3. Experience with object-oriented programming, CI/CD, scripting, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Agile software development is preferred.
4.Strong Analytical, Problem-Solving, Communication and Cross-functional Collaboration Skills

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in software development, system automation or DevOps
  • Experience developing automation using C#, .NET, PowerShell, Python
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub and Git (CI/CD and release automation)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, deployment automation and environment provisioning
  • Familiarity with Windows environments and networking technologies (DHCP, DNS, TCP, UDP)
