About the Role

The Reaxys team is on the lookout for a skilled front-end developer with strong expertise of React and front-end tech stack. You will work on features both collaboratively and independently and translate requirements into functional features

This position is ideal for an individual who is enthusiastic about learning, growing, and making a meaningful contribution. You will collaborate closely with our team of experienced developers and designers from diverse backgrounds to develop user-friendly and accessible web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Write code and tests to match detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the product.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, ensuring scalability and reliability.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Experience with React.js (v16+), JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., Redux, React Router).
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest).
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, NPM).
• Strong problem-solving skills, proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
• Experience or training in Chemistry or Chem Informatics is a bonus.
