Scope:
Contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of Blue Yonder's cloud-native Supply Chain Data Platform.
Work closely with senior engineers to build scalable microservices, implement new features, resolve defects, and continuously improve product quality while developing technical expertise in distributed systems and cloud technologies.

Core Skill: Python, Numpy, Gradle, GIT, Hibernate, Rest API, OAuth
Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event driven, Rest API, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture, Solver
Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, HD insight, Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)
Frameworks/Others: SnowFlake, MS SQL, Gradle GIT, Github Actions
What you'll do:
Develops quality software (including effective test code) according to clean code principles and Blue Yonder standards.
Provides input for the prioritization of issues in the backlog and autonomously pulls issues or supports other team members as appropriate.
Participate in team activities such as backlog grooming, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Translates business requirements to user stories and actively seeks feedback by the stakeholders.
Participate in designs of individual stories and translate the design to subtasks with the help of lead developers and architects.
Consider aspects of information security while coding and reviewing other's code.
Keeps up to date with technology and research latest trends in the industry.
Actively shapes team vision and helps shape the team roadmap towards achieving it.
Triage, troubleshooting and identify the root cause of issues reported in any environment. Based on priority, fixing defects and aiming to make the services/ workflow/ functionality reliable enough.
Timely interactions with operating team to shift left certain known issues until the fix is available. Also, train the operating team on the new features being released every quarter.
Assist project teams in being able to implement our services/ features for a given customer by providing enough documentation.
Produces actionable user stories to relieve operational pain.
Plans and perform more complex changes and manage stakeholder expectations.
Seeks out the root cause of incidents and inspires improvements in a blameless fashion.
Strives to replace service requests with self-service functionality and automation.
Diligently collaborates with stakeholders to optimize their choice of service and service usage to minimize costs for derived products.
What we are looking for:
3 to 5 years of strong hands-on experience in software development of large and complex enterprise applications.
Experience in developing enterprise applications using Python using Django.
Understanding API lifecycle management and Hands-on experience in building, designing REST APIs.
Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn new technologies, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment.

Skills Required
- 3 to 5 years software development experience on large enterprise applications
