Software Engineer (Front-End Focused)

As a Software Engineer at Trimble, you will design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance geospatial cloud-based applications. You’ll collaborate closely with global, cross-functional teams to deliver robust user interfaces, efficient 2D and 3D data handling, and seamless integrations into Trimble’s leading geospatial platform.
What You Will DoAs a member of our multinational engineering team, your daily responsibilities will include:
Product Development: Developing professional web applications for the Trimble Reality Capture Platform.
Code Quality & Maintenance: Maintaining and contributing to a cross-team monorepo while upholding high quality standards through detailed code reviews and robust automated test coverage.
Collaboration: Participating in product design and requirements discussions to clarify, refine, and prioritize features.
Cross-Functional Teamwork: Actively collaborating with global hardware and software teams working on scanning, mobile mapping, and aerial survey sensors.
Process Improvement: Working collectively with the team to polish internal collaboration and engineering processes.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience primarily coding front-end applications.
Tech Stack Proficiency: Hands-on experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
Soft Skills: Highly motivated, autonomous self-starter with an achievement-based drive and excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
Experience with SPA frameworks (e.g., SolidJS) and Mono-repositories (e.g., NX).
Experience with WebGL / 3D Graphics and high-performance data visualization.
Experience with server-side languages (e.g., C#) and databases.
