We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer with strong experience in data and Python, who thrives at the intersection of data engineering, software development, and AI. Within our team, we are transitioning from traditional data engineering towards a more software-defined approach. That’s why we’re seeking engineers who not only excel in data engineering but also have a strong drive for innovation and declarative automation.

• Build intelligent, AI-driven solutions and the integration of AI tooling into data-driven processes

• Automate and standardize data engineering workflows with frameworks to scale best practices

• Contribute to the development of a robust and scalable data platform

• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams within a complex environment

• Strong proficiency in Python, data engineering and software engineering, including frameworks such as Apache Spark, Airflow, Great Expectation etc

• Experienced in integrating software engineering methodologies into data engineering, including CI/CD, code reviews, and automated testing.

• Familiarity with AI-driven use cases, such as building agents and integrating AI tooling to optimize data engineering practice.

• Hands-on experience with Azure platform engineering, including deployment and management of services like VNets, Azure Databricks, Azure Storage, and Key Vault

• Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, preferably using Azure Databricks and Airflow

• Advanced Data Engineering skills such as debugging, optimization, performance tuning and defining best practices.

• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and workflow orchestration

• Knowledge of data governance, data security, and data quality best practices

• Experience in the financial services sector is a plus

• A passion for technology and an open mindset toward new tools and methodologies
