About the team and roleDocuments & Biometrics Team
Our team is a diverse and dynamic group with a shared focus on creating exceptional applications. We strive for excellence in both functionality and developer experience, catering to customers operating in complex domains with strict requirements for security, compliance, and usability. Our daily work follows Agile methodology, placing a strong emphasis on automation. We believe in the power of close collaboration, valuing the input and expertise of our team members as well as fostering partnerships with colleagues both within and outside our team.
Software Engineer
As a software engineer, you will play a crucial role in our Documents & Biometrics product portfolio, focusing on document authentication software. Your responsibilities include enhancing existing solutions, developing new integrations with partners, and helping establish trust in a digital world.
What you will do
Software Development
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET.
- Implement clean, modular, and maintainable code following industry best practices and design patterns.
- Collaborate with architects and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Cloud Engineering (AWS)
- Build and deploy cloud‑native applications using AWS services such as: Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, RDS, API Gateway, IAM.
- Implement secure, scalable, and cost‑efficient architectures aligned with cloud best practices.
- Use infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
CI/CD and DevOps Automation
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps / Jenkins / GitLab CI.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes across development, staging, and production environments.
- Ensure software quality through automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, and regression tests).
Engineering Excellence
- Advocate for best practices in code quality, observability, security, and performance.
- Support troubleshooting, debugging, and incident resolution.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge‑sharing sessions, and engineering ceremonies.
· Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, RESTful APIs, and microservice development.
· Professional experience working with AWS cloud services.
· Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines and automation.
· Solid understanding of:
o Docker and container orchestration (ECS/EKS/Kubernetes).
o Relational and NoSQL databases.
o Git workflows and branching strategies.
· Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest).
Experience in some of the below would be desirable:· Experience with event‑driven architectures and messaging services.
· Knowledge of monitoring/observability tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
· Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security automation.
· Exposure to agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Skills we're looking for- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, RESTful APIs, and microservice development.
- Professional experience working with AWS cloud services.
- Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Solid understanding of: Docker and container orchestration (ECS/EKS/Kubernetes), Relational and NoSQL databases, Git workflows and branching strategies.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest).
- Experience in some of the below would be desirable:
- Experience with event‑driven architectures and messaging services.
- Knowledge of monitoring/observability tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security automation.
- Exposure to agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Desirable Skills
- Experience with IaC testing, e.g., CloudFormation linting, Terraform testing tools.
- Knowledge of observability tooling (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Exposure to DevSecOps, including static/dynamic security testing.
- Understanding of event‑driven architectures and messaging validation patterns.
- Experience with feature flags, chaos testing, and resilience testing.
