Share effective AI-assisted development practices with team members and contribute to responsible AI adoption across the team
Design and implement scalable and maintainable software using object-oriented C++, applying sound engineering principles, design patterns, and modern development practices
Write, test, review, and maintain high-quality code throughout the software development lifecycle
Take ownership of features and components from design and implementation through deployment and ongoing support
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects, performance bottlenecks, and production issues
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and implementation details
Develop and optimize production-grade capabilities for Computer-Aided Design (CAD), including parametric modeling, geometry, and design workflows
Apply computational geometry and geometric modeling principles to build robust, high-performance desktop applications
Collaborate with Product Management, Experience Design, and Quality Assurance teams to deliver customer-focused Fusion capabilities
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, estimation, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Expand technical expertise across adjacent technologies while deepening knowledge within core engineering areas
Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture focused on software quality, innovation, and continuous learning
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field
2+ years of professional software development experience
Proficiency using Artificial Intelligence (AI)-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Claude as part of daily software development, with disciplined review and validation of generated code
Strong object-oriented programming skills in C++, including modern C++ practices and proficiency with the C++ Standard Library (STL)
Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and design patterns
Strong programming, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) concepts, computational geometry, geometric modeling, or equivalent experience developing geometry-intensive or mathematically complex software
Experience using source control and project management tools such as Git and Jira
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) desktop applications, including Autodesk Fusion or similar products
Hands-on experience with computational geometry, geometric modeling, or computer graphics
Experience developing cross-platform desktop applications for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Experience designing and developing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and Software Development Kits (SDKs)
Familiarity with Qt, CMake, and Python
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a collaborative software engineer with strong object-oriented programming expertise, a passion for building high-quality desktop applications, and a commitment to continuous learning and engineering excellence
Demonstrates strong software engineering fundamentals and applies industry best practices to solve technical challenges
Uses analytical thinking and sound judgment to evaluate solutions and make informed technical decisions
