What We Offer

Dive into an empowered role doing end-to-end feature development. You will become familiar with all parts of our stack-data ingestion, storage, notification, presentation and analytics. You will be developing on a modern cloud platform, building enterprise-grade software on top of it. To do so, you will exercise judgment every day in making tradeoffs between design and feasibility. You will choose when to hack and when to invest, and engineer your features to be scalable and resilient in a large, complex system.

What You Will Do

  • Produce software solutions that are well-designed, tested, documented, serviceable, and maintainable.
  • Share support and release duties with the rest of the team.
  • Work with the product owner and principal engineer to fully understand the business problem you are solving and produce an effective solution.
  • Work with the team to move units of work through the SDLC to get them into production in an efficient manner, driving toward continuous delivery.

Who You Are and What You Bring

  • Minimum: BS in Computer Science or related field, with 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Desire to learn, take ownership, and drive tasks to completion
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn our domain and expand your technical knowledge
  • Willingness to cross roles (e.g., development, test, and product definition) and work on different parts of the stack (e.g., front-end, back-end, database)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to adapt communication to technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity
  • Quality-focused, team-first attitude
  • Expertise in one or more of the following: C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React/ReactNative

Desired But Not Required

  • Expertise in SQL and database concepts
  • Expertise in Git and/or other source control systems
  • Secure software development experience
  • Agile software development experience (Scrum, Kanban, etc)
  • Continuous integration / continuous delivery experience
  • Experience working on SaaS systems
  • Experience working on large-scale, high throughput systems
