We are now seeking an Embedded Platform Engineer to help us develop our pioneering portfolio of video devices further. Based at our global headquarters in Oslo, you will join Neat’s main R&D hub of over 70 talented engineers and designers.

The opportunity:
As an Embedded Platform Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the lower-level software for Neat's innovative devices. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, integrating and optimizing kernel-level components to ensure robust and high-performance operation.
- Working with the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) to customize and enhance the platform for our unique hardware.
- Implementing and refining Hardware Abstraction Layers (HALs) to bridge the gap between software and our cutting-edge hardware.
- Collaborating within a DevOps framework, contributing to continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines.
- Troubleshooting and debugging complex system-level issues across the entire platform stack.
- Contributing to the architectural decisions and technical roadmap for Neat's platform evolution.
