The Gen AI Group (GAI) is developing next-generation AI-powered solutions that transform both our customer-facing products and internal applications. As a Software Engineer II in GAI, you’ll contribute to building and deploying advanced AI systems, working closely with senior engineers and technical leaders to deliver impactful solutions. - AI Application Development: Build and integrate AI models, services, and pipelines into production systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Collaboration: Partner with senior engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Prompt & LLM Engineering: Apply prompt engineering best practices and build applications on top of LLMs, agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Backend Development: Contribute to backend systems and services that power AI-driven features.
- Operational Excellence: Write clean, maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and follow best practices for testing, monitoring, and deployment.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI and bring ideas back to the team.
- 2+ years of experience with Python.
- Experience building and operating complex backend systems, services, or data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with using(e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor).
- Experience with modern LLM platforms and libraries such as OpenAI/Anthropic API, Langchain, etc.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering principles and practical experience building on top of LLMs and RAG.
- Experience with technologies in our stack (e.g., Airflow, Elasticsearch, REST APIs).
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure best practices.
- Experience with or interest in AI evangelism—sharing knowledge through documentation, workshops, or technical sessions.
