We are seeking a passionate Software Engineer 2 to join our Finance Technology delivery team. A day in the life…

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance services and APIs.
• Develop robust, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Enhance application functionality, resiliency, usability, and security.
• Collaborate with other engineers on design best practices and code reviews.
• Facilitate cross-functional troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Develop and enhance automated test cases and deployment procedures.
• Lead by example with hands-on design and prototyping.
• Understand and analyze business and technical requirements.
• Create simple, modular, and extensible functional designs.
• Troubleshoot performance and availability issues.
• Maintain a customer-focused mentality and prioritize quality.
• Apply security coding practices and secure system fundamentals.

You own this if you have…

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong development experience in Java, Python, or Kotlin
• Proficiency with Spring Boot, ReactJS, and Apache Kafka
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes
• Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful services and scalable microservices
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies and tooling
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Financial systems (Oracle EBS) integrations a plus

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $103,000-$188,500 annuallyThis position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
