Job Responsibilities
SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT / PROJECT MANGEMENT
Working with internal/external stakeholders to identify requirements and priorities
Establishing and driving product release plans that satisfy requirements and priorities, with high implementation quality
Assessing the costs, risks, and dependencies for each project
Providing ongoing communication of the release plan to the relevant stakeholders
Fostering effective communications with team members for status updates and issue reporting
Identifying, anticipating and tackling technical issues
Considering trade-offs and risk mitigation options
Identifying and removing blockers to ensure delivery of project
Working with key stakeholders to make project plan course corrections
TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP
Maintain a high level of technical expertise to work effectively with team members
Keep abreast of technology industry trends, solutions, standards and methodologies
Identify and drive process improvements
TEAM MANAGEMENT
Recruiting well-qualified professionals
Fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Providing ongoing feedback, coaching and mentorship
Qualifications
Preferred
Extensive experience in software design, development, and/or consulting in cloud systems or web services, with a strong background in leading software development teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to lead technical discussions and present complex ideas to diverse audiences
Good understanding of business drivers and ability to articulate them clearly
Bonus
Demonstrated success in hiring and onboarding engineering talent.
Proven ability to mentor and develop technical talent within the organization.
Interpersonal skills, with the ability to set goals, provide feedback, and foster a positive team culture.
Strong fundamentals in all or any of the following: TypeScript (Node.js and React) and Java (Spring boot).
Hands-on Experience with AWS or other cloud providers
API development experience (REST, GraphQL, gRPC)
Experience with CI/CD concepts and working with a deployment pipeline such as Jenkins

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
