Software Development Engineering – Advisor

TITLE: Software Development Engineering – Advisor

EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC

LOCATION: 600 N. Vel R. Phillips Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53203 (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)

DUTIES: Develop customized solutions within the platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals. Gather business and functional requirements for expanding existing functionalities in applications. Conduct technical meetings to walk through technical requirements documents. Analyze key production issues and key decision-making on critical issues. Direct technical team in completing coding for database ETL tasks to meet requirements, resolve end users (production) incidents, and meet with database and system administrators to identify database capacity to fulfill new project requirements. Conduct analysis with OBA defining backup strategies and estimate future storage needs, prepare Logical Models, and prepare Table data file Normalization processes. Design and develop various new and/or modify existing database structures including Tables, indexes, objects, partitions, sub partitions, materialized views, and views to meet business requirements. Provide guidance to scrum masters to create relevant epics/user stories. Develop and auto-execute unit test cases that are integrated with the Maven build. Responsible for keeping all the environments operational and for preparing daily checkout routines for the environments.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (3 year foreign degree accepted) in Computer Science or a related field and 7 years in any job title involving full stack development experience. Prior experience must include: 7 years working with Java, Spring, and Rest Services; 7 years working with RDBMS; 5 years working with Snowflake; Development with Java, J2EE, and Micro services; Working with Cloud technologies including Cloud Foundry and AWS S3; Using DevOps concepts and process; Working with various SCM, build and deployment tools (CI/CD), code scanning and testing tools; Working with messaging including ActiveMQ and KAFKA; Creating design documents using UML tools; Working with XSD, XPath, XQuery, or XSLT; Using HTML5 concepts and CSS3; Working with Motio Framework, Bootstrap, and Splunk; and Working with Javascript, jQueryExt JS or AngularJS.
