Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer with deep expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Asset Management, and platform customizations. You’ll play a critical role in developing and enhancing ServiceNow solutions that align with our enterprise service strategy. Experience working in FEDRAMP-compliant environments is a plus.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement solutions in ServiceNow focusing on ITSM, ITOM, and Asset Management modules

Customize workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, and catalog items to meet business needs

Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions

Develop and support integrations using REST, SOAP, and MID Servers
-
Configure and maintain Discovery, Event Management, and CMDB
-
Implement custom modules or enhancements for IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and Hardware Asset Lifecycle

Ensure platform scalability, performance, and adherence to security/compliance standards, including FEDRAMP (where applicable)

Provide best practices guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers

Support ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and instance cloning
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
-
5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
-
Strong expertise in ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog, Request)

Solid experience in ITOM components (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB)

Proven experience with Asset Management and lifecycle automation

Skilled in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting techniques

Familiar with Agile methodology and DevOps practices

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

At least one advanced ServiceNow certification (e.g., CIS – ITSM or ITOM)
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in FEDRAMP or other regulated environments

Exposure to Performance Analytics, Flow Designer, or App Engine

Strong understanding of CMDB health and governance practices
-
Familiarity with source control and CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins)
